About Testing Centers

NOVA Testing Centers provide a range of proctoring and testing services for current and prospective students. Services include placement tests, make-up exams, TEAS testing, and faculty-referred exams. Most campuses offer both walk-in and appointment-based testing options.

Types of Tests

Proctoring Request Process for Faculty:

  at least two business days in advance (MyNOVA credential required).

Testing Center Operational Hours

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Each type of test offered by the Testing Centers has a unique cut-off time based on the length of the test.  Appointments are requested.

  • VPT English, VPT Math, NAS2 Placement Test, and SDV ABLE Test: 2 hours before closing
  • ESL Accuplacer: 3 hours before closing
  • Faculty Referred Test: 90 minutes before closing
  • TEAS Test: Monday through Thursday, 5 hours before closing

Tuesday, Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday Closed
